What to Expect

What to Expect From an Energy Therapy Session

On your first visit, you will complete a brief client intake form and review the consent for services. An intention will be set with you for your visit. Every person's intention is specific to them and requires an individual approach to therapy. This will be discussed with you and you will be given the opportunity to ask questions. Your consent for services will be signed once your questions are addressed.

Wear comfortable clothing.

The beginning of the session is focused on your comfort. You are positioned fully clothed on a treatment table or chair. A variety of pillows are used to support you to begin the relaxation process. With soft music playing, I will move my hands gently on and above your body. Crystals may be placed around or on you, and sound tools may be used to further open and clear your energy fields. Initially, it may be hard to relax and "turn off" your thought process, but in time, you will enter a state of deep relaxation or fall asleep.

During the session, I will focus on your intentions, treating the areas of concern identified before the session, as well as any imbalances I may perceive with my hands. As I continue to move my hands over your body, you may wake up needing to cough or have a drink of water. You are in control of the session and are encouraged to ask for what you need. After 30-60 minutes, your entire body will be balanced, cleared, and energized.

At the end of the session, I will touch your shoulders and hold your feet to ground you. As you are ready and begin to move back into awareness, you may open your eyes and begin moving your hands and toes. After being helped to a sitting position, you are given water to drink and encouraged to describe your experience.

Finally, the intention set before your session will be reviewed and discussed. Benefits of each session may be realized immediately or within a few days.

Please know that my services should never replace the services of a medical doctor or mental health provider.
